Managing Members
Manage → Members is everybody in your group, with what they've done here beside their name: their role, when they joined, their last visit, how many sessions they've attended, how many tracks they've submitted, and whether their email is confirmed.
Search by name, and filter the list down to the people who have attended a session or submitted a track.
Looking at one member
The info button opens their page: the same figures with dates on them — when they joined, their last visit, the last session they attended, the last track they sent — and a calendar of their activity, where a session takes you to the session itself.
A member who has submitted also has a music button on their row, which goes to their tracks.
Roles
From a member's page you can change their role, and the roles you can give are the ones below your own — nobody can promote somebody past themselves.
What the role decides is how much of the management area they get. Organizers run sessions; owners and admins also get the group's settings, Discord, badges and Patreon; the plan and the billing behind it are the owner's alone.
Approving people
In a group set to Moderated join mode, everybody who asks to join waits in Manage → Pending until an organizer approves them. The setting is on Group Settings.
Removing somebody
Two ways, both for owners and admins, and the difference is what happens to what they left behind.
- Ban takes them out of the group and nothing of theirs is deleted. They can't come back on their own — only you can, with Restore on their row.
- Delete takes them out and takes their content with them: their tracks go, and the audio can't be recovered. You're asked to type their user name first, because there is no undo.
Comments they wrote on other people's tracks stay either way, under their name — feedback other members were given isn't theirs to take away.
Somebody who left the group themselves is different: they were never removed by you, so they can rejoin whenever they like, in the role they left with.
